Cleaning with HostStackHQ: a guide for cleaners

You get your jobs on Telegram. (If your company doesn't use Telegram, skip this guide.)

Getting started

1. Install Telegram from the Play Store or App Store.
2. Open the invite link from your supervisor.
3. Tap Start. The bot says hello with your name.

• The link works once, for 7 days. Expired, or new phone? Ask for a new link.
• Clean for more than one company (say, through an agency)? Open each company's link on the same phone. Tasks from all of them arrive in the one chat, and each says which property it's for.

A cleaning job

Each job arrives as one message:

Cleaning: Garden room, Villa Asha
From checkout: Sat 1 Nov, 11:00 AM
Ready by: Sat 1 Nov, 2:00 PM
Photos: 0

• From checkout: start after this time. The bot tells you when it passes.
• Ready by: the next guest arrives. The room must be done.
• One button per checklist item sits under the message.

Doing the job

1. Tap each checklist item when done. It turns ✅. (Tap again to undo.)
2. Send a photo of the clean room to the bot. It replies "Photo saved".
3. Tap the green Mark ready button.
4. The message changes to "Ready. Thank you!"

• You can't mark ready until every item is ✅ and a photo is sent.
• Two jobs open? Reply to the job's message with the photo, or it goes to the earliest checkout.
• Work open for two companies? Always reply to the job's message with the photo. The bot won't guess which company it's for.

Repairs and other work

Your supervisor may send other work (fix a tap, service an AC):

1. Do the work.
2. Send a photo of the finished work.
3. Tap Mark done. The message changes to "Done. Thank you!"

• Also have a cleaning job open? Reply to the job's message with the photo.
• A cancelled job says "This job was cancelled."

Stock: soap, toilet rolls, tea

The bot subtracts what each cleaning uses. To report stock:

1. Send /stock to the bot.
2. Tap the item.
3. Send the number you counted (e.g. 8), or tap Running low.

• More than one company? Each store's name is followed by its company's.
• "No stock to report on" means you haven't cleaned there recently, or your company doesn't track stock.

Important

• Never photograph guests or people. Room and work only.
• Times update by themselves if the booking moves. Check the latest.
• Cancelled: no cleaning needed.
• "No longer yours": the job went to someone else.
• Questions? Call your supervisor. The bot can't answer.
